Does anyone know where this cc683057 Stop-manifold exhaust valve goes......... There's no diagram in the book just saying there only needs 1

Got a picture of it? Sounds like either the fording valve or the heat riser valve to me. Both attach to the manifold, but only the heat riser valve is part of the exhaust. If so it goes between the intake and exhaust manifolds, just below the carburetor

The part you listed isn't used in the T245 engine as best as I can tell. The part number isn't listed in the ORD and the pic I found of that part isn't anything I recognize. The part number you mention is an exhaust manifold heat riser stop, which limited the travel of a circular valve installed at the collector end of an exhaust manifold. It was used in Chrysler V-8 engines except the 426 hemi, but I don't see it mentioned as used in the straight 6 flathead. What "book" are you referring to?

Found it looks like 1/2 my trucks are missing it only the most original truck still has it

I think I remember seeing something like this on my WM300 civvy power wagon. Always wondered what a valve was doing in the middle of the exhaust pipe
