Lot# 496, for those who care to check it out. Looking forward to seeing the outcome this time. We have had some interested buyers calling to inquire about the build.

WOW! Our truck just rolled across the block about 20 minutes ago. Brought $170,000, at the time it sold, had brought the highest amount of any vehicle sold on today's auction. Next highest sale price for the day was 100 grand, for a 1980 trans am. An already GOOD day just got a lot better.

Wow, That's great Charles, its shows that there is appreciation for the quality of work M-Series turns out. Unfortunately, most of us are not in the same income bracket but its fun to look on from the sidelines. The value of your stock just jumped a bunch.

Wow....beautiful truck!!! I heard the announcer say the guy had over $160K in the truck, not counting the price of the truck originally......so I guess the seller didn't make much money. On the flip-side..........he's lucky there were two guys there who really wanted it.........or he could have lost a small fortune!
An all black 1944 "Powerwagon" sold last night for $170K also. Probably the same two guys bidding over it. My girlfriend's eyes popped out of her head when she saw what these two trucks brought at auction. And she now has just a bit more respect for those M37's in my driveway. I don't have the heart to tell her mine aren't even worth the commission those two truck paid!!
regards,
bob

BJ is the home of feculated prices on stuff. It isn't a valid indication of vehicle worth. Best thing about 90% of the cars there is the just get rolled into hangers/garages around Scottsdale and sit until next year when the same group tries to flip the stuff for even more money. (Helps provide my paycheck at least.) There are almost no true original or correctly restored cars there. Everything is over restored, hotrodded or hyped. And that is the second M to make big money there. The first was a to the nut and bolt restoration for a charity sale.

Charles, you do amazing work.
I have always wondered why the resto mods no matter what type of mods bring 10x the money than a factory frame up correct restorations.
