Andy, any fire danger over toward Lodi? I won't make the trip to Camp Delta/Tower Park unless it's "all clear".

Sorry I missed this post! I don't believe that Lodi is in any of the current fire's paths. I'll keep you posted, and call if immediately if there looks like there's an issue. Feel free to give me a shout for any updates.

Things are crispy out here! Middletown was caught in a fire's path last week. I feel for the people up there.

Thanks-we've been well tuned in to the fire reports-looks like all systems go for the Camp Delta meet! We'll be on the road Thursday afternoon, hoping to arrive early Friday morning shouldn't be a problem driving at night since I normally work a Grave shift, I'm up anyway, and we aren't towing Veronica's Rubicon on this trip.

Google Maps indicates 700 miles A to B.

The plan at the moment is to head out in the M37 on Friday morning with Hilde, dog, tent, camp stove, and associated goodies.

I'm going to bring some old NDT's for an MVCC member and a couplet of curtains for 5 ton trucks that I picked up at a yard sale. Maybe I'll find some goodies while I'm up there!

I'm looking forward to the event, I just need to map out an M37 friendly route today (no hills !). Give me a call before you guys hit the road.
