Another small jump seat question

Is there supposed to be anything to stop the jump seat from hitting the bed when in the stowed position. Seams like the bolts will rub and dent the bed front. If so I guess a small piece of rubber will stop it.
Thanks,

Nothing that I'm aware of. If you will PM me an email address I can send you a picture of a front bed panel in place with the jump seat removed, that shows nothing resembling a bump-stop,etc. on the panel.

Of all the M37s I have seen or owned none had such a thing.

You can always add a few washers (a rubber one provides some drag) or bend the tabs on the clevises to create a little resistance so the seat doesn't swing so freely but can still be easily moved into position when needed.

The spare tire usually keeps the seat from banging around too.
