replacement shocks

The shock on my R2 are shot. I'll need stock replacements for the rear. But, since I'm doing a 4BT. The front springs will be re-arched up 3 inches and at least 3 leaves added. I'll need longer shocks to work the new travel distance. Any recommendations?

This might be some help to you in finding the right shock, its a list of mounting and length specifications for Monroe shocks.

I believe that deuce and 5 ton shocks are the same thing ,well that's what im going to do on my truck

Deuce shocks are different, they mount with a threaded stud on the ends.
5-ton shocks look like an M-37 shock, but the valving rate is different. They do work fine on an M-37 however.
I used stock shocks on my raised Diesel conversion, they were plenty long enough.

Thanks. It looked like a lot of people use stock. I was thinking when front axle drops down off road or rough terrain. Shocks would over extend and blow out.

Found out hard way stock is no good. But Vintage powerwagons took them back. R2 did not use M37 shocks. Did find Monroe 65102 does the trick. 19 compressed 27.5 extended. The post on the R2 are unloaded at 23 inches apart.
