SCREW EXTRACTION HELP!

Hey Crew.
Need some help or a tip on how to extract the screws holding the lens on the body of the tail lamps. Also is there a hot trick on removing the insides to refurbish a set of trailer lights for my Jeep wagon.
I'm afraid to tap on or apply too much pressure on the cast aluminum housings. Any help would be appreciated.

Kroil. Soak and wait. Then ease them out like you were running a tap. Turn out a bit then turn in some to clear any goop in the threads. Kroil some more. I ended up tossing one of mine that just wasn't going to let go of the inner fixture. They were cheaper to replace than the time I was beginning to spend on that one.

I have some "Kroil" left, but it's not even wanting to work. Maybe if they sit over night? We'll see.

Try some heat and paraffin wax.

Hi Elwood.
Thought about a little heat. Never heard of using paraffin wax. I'll give it a try!
Thank you!

Let the Kroil set for several or more days, keep applyimg daily,it needs to" creep" into the threads.

Tim, when you use Kroil remember to lightly tap on the screw and the housing in the affected area even just with a small hammer and punch. this will allow some vibration to take place and that's what Kroil likes to help it creep into the threads.

Thanks Paul!
A Friend who is an outboard motor mechanic said the same thing. Even suggested an impact driver you tap with a hammer.
Right now everything is in the "soaking" mode. Getting ready for tomorrow's parade.
Thanks for all the suggestions Guys!! Cheers.
