will a 251 engine bolt up to a later m37 trans

i would like to know if a canadian 251 engine will bolt up to a later style m37 transmission. thanks dave

I have not noticed any differences in m37 bell housings. a 230 block to bell is he same as the 251 and the T98 and the np have the same ears.

If you are installing a 251/265 engine in a US M-37, you will have to drill two holes in the front crossmember for the mount capscrews. There are already two flat spots just for that purpose.
