I sold my 230 that i have advertised and the guy who bought it was a military vehicle nut like myself and we got to talking about CND trucks because I have a 251 in my truck and I told him I would like a spare engine just incase and he said "let me call you right back" so I got a call back in 10 minutes and he said his buddy had one that I could HAVE if I wanted it! so I immediately setup a time to go see it and it was in fact a CDN m37 with the 251 and t98! so now I'm a proud owner of a cdn m37 the truck is completely rusted but all the running gear is good which is all I wanted anyway just thought I would share the story

Great score. That must have been one of many the were shipped south at one time or another. Frame serial number is located on drivers side of frame just behind the rear cab mount. Should match the data plate if there is one. Also the CAR (Canadian Army Registration) number will be stamped on the top of the frame, ahead of the grill on the drivers side. Rust not withstanding, there are a lot of good parts on that truck. A replacement cab gotten locally and you could add to your fleet. You can never have too many trucks.... :o Also check out the PTO thread that Marc posted, it might work for you and be easier to find rather than an Acme.

Awesome. Ain't it always great when people GIVE you stuff? They feel good about getting rid of it and having it go to a good home.....and you love a score!

Sweet!
