More in my beard than on my head but what hair remains is as you said Gary. Driving school, well no driving school but yes, 10 and 2, Dad taught me well.
Another one thanks to Sandy.

Hi Carter,
Wow.....your neighbors must thing you're something special.....the Army comes and plows your driveway when it snows!!! Great pics.........looks like you're having a good time. I did the same thing, but with my Kubota, not my M37. Not nearly as cool for sure.
regards,
bob

Nice!!
I guess it takes practice to stop the winch when the blade hits the ground
To prevent cable unravel?
Nice install on the shackle mounts.
Looks like quick install and removal.
I wasn't so sure when I first saw your pic's sometime back,but
After studying your picture album,it Looks GREAT!

Tom, thanks for your comments

It is easy to install and remove in about 15 min.
When lowering the blade I watch for the front end of the truck to rise a little bit when the blade hits the ground and that is my signal to unwind no further, also I can see the left top corner of the blade and when it stops moving down I hit the clutch and shift the winch lever into neutral. I have forgotten to shift into neutral a couple of times and the penalty for that is I get to rewrap the cable on the drum with the aid of someone I con into helping.

Looks like a great time Carter. I've always liked playing in the snow (that's because where I live we don't ever get very much and it is usually gone very quickly).
Playing snow plow driver looks like a lot more fun than going to work all day.

There's a fair measure of satisfaction in watching the kids play with a favourite toy

Thanks Bert, Sandy has finally learned to get great shots W/O chopping off the top of the subject or peoples heads.
52, The most fun I had all week and the truck is doing something useful that keeps me out of the -7F degree weather shoveling snow.
Tony, you are correct in that I am just that kid, I will try to get Sandy to shoot a video next time this big kid gets his favorite toy out to play
