Pulling Reverse Idler Shaft

I had fun driving the shaft out for the Reverse Shifter Shaft. One of the front mounting ears of the transmission keeps you from lining up your drift square on.

Once I had that out the rear bearing just slid off the main shaft and I could lift the Main Shaft Assembly out.

Here's the question. Without the puller tool how do you get the Reverse Idler Shaft out? I am guessing that has to come out before you can remove the Counter Shaft?

I might try my hand at making a tool. The manual shows a tool that pulls. I am guessing it attaches under the lip on the outside of the shaft the bolted down holder plate goes into.

I have seen tools that can push from the inside but not sure there is enough room on the inside for that. I will keep trying.

I was able to make my own tool. I was not too hard. Check out my post in the Builders Blog area.
