More room for the driver?

Its winter and I can't drive my M37 with my boots on. I'm just to big for the poor thing. Anyone else done anything to get a little more room behind the wheel of their M37? Maybe reduce the setback cushion size or something? Its freezing out and I'm not enjoying wearing sandals much right now.

Thanks!

Reducing the thickness of the back and bottom cushion is the most common and easiest method. Changing the seat is the other option which can be a major alteration.

A new steering system is another possibility, but that too would be a major alteration.

Weight loss works for some, but that doesn't address height issues and seems to be the least favored alternative.

Good Luck with whatever you decide!

I have 13EEE sized feet. The standard joke was that I would have been really tall if I didn't have so much turned under for feet. My biggest problem in the M37 isn't pedal clearance, but the distance between the wheel and the pedals. I have to use the pedal shaft on the clutch when shifting. It was a bit awkward at first but I adusted. Gas and brake just required and odd angle of the knee that , while uncomfortable at first eased up a bit after I changed my sitting position a bit.
I can drive my M37 while wearing boots but not my WM300.
