Truck bed disassembled...

Got my truck bed disassembled to assess how bad the rot was in the cross member in front of the tool box and it looks like it's going to be completely toast... Is anyone making a replacement for this part of the truck bed... Or do I need to fish around for one or just fabricated something up... I can't believe how much debris accumulated in there...

Check with John at Midwest-I got a rear panel from him, not sure if he's doing the front.

The shipping would be killer...
I did find some stock material out at my metal supplier that should work if I section and weld it together... 2"x5" tube rectangular stock 11 gauge which is just about right... That piece is 2"x4" approx so a 2x5 would give me some wriggle room for cutting...

Some pictures of the horror...

Looks like the sheet metal other than that front cross member I can save... Bed and tool box floor got pretty moth eaten but there's
enough there I can work with...

If I get a chance I'll take a picture of all the parts laid out on the driveway when they get repainted for illustrative purposes...
