Navy M37 Data Plates.....Interesting

Hi Guys,
Check out these two pics of glovebox data plates from a Navy M37. I found it interesting that they X'd out the "ORD" in ORD STOCK NO and stamped in "NAVY"............but then never stamped in the Navy Stock Number. ???
