Hi fellow M37 (and others) buffs. Name is Joose and new to the forum. Im in the burbs of Vancouver, BC. A special shout out going to my good buddy RMS, for helping me get my hands on a '52 M37 and giving me a kick in the butt to get it up and running with a cab swap from a decent donner M37 we found last year. Can't wait to get out on the road with RMS and Terry with my own M37, instead of just riding shotgun on our trips! Glad to be a part of the g741 and hope to post some pics of the transformation in progress. Cheers.

Welcome to the forum Joose. Glad to hear that you got your own M37 now, we will need to see pictures of your travels with RMS.

Make sure to start a build thread of your truck.

Welcome aboard! There are quite a few of us out here in god's country. You already know some and others will chime in sooner or later. Western Command in the LML and Vancouver Island has a few M37/43/152 owners and contacts like RMS locally will be good for parts and advice. Here on the Island, there are a couple of restomods and more than a few original M37 CDN old timers like mine sitting and waiting for some work. Have fun!

Pictures are always appreciated...

Jess

Jim, that is too funny. We are both very lucky to live in a great part of our respective countries. I complain about the rain sometimes but its pretty nice not to have to shovel 4ft every snow day just to get out of the driveway. The summer must be ending, as the stream of boaters is now generally south, rather than northbound and the sea lions are showing up again. Life is good.

Joose, you will find a lot of knowledgeable guys on here that will share what they have learned and suggest good sound advice. You already know Robyn (RMS) who has the best parts trove around here. Many are long time in this hobby and participated in the forums since the Big Electric days. We all like pictures....

Hi Joose! I'm another PNWester. Live in Blaine, right on the border. You wouldn't happen to live on Fraser Highway just north of Cloverdale? I met some friends of RMS there once when I dropped by, wondering if it might be you.

Got my M37 a little over a year ago, but illness and family needs have stalled work on it.

Thanks all for the warm welcome to the forum. Yes, RMS, I will be home....Dad is coming over at 7am to do more work on the green house but I think we can squeeze the moving of the M37 for the cab swap. And Hal, I am not far from the place you describe.....I have been there too! LOL. And Thanks RMS for the first post of pics....my camera in my phone is the shitzz.
