Latest Mistake!

Hey Crew.
Well, I guess I better fess-up to my latest mistake. I bought a 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A with a 1979 Ford 2.3 OHC engine.
It had sat unmoved since 2002 along the Mississippi river and been thru several floods that put water in all the gear boxes and motor.
We trailered it home and I've been working on it just trying to de-water the components.
To my amazement after a tremendous amount of time flushing and cleaning (it's a really long story) the old Jeep roared to life yesterday morning at 08:00 hours!
I was amazed but really quite proud! I am starting back on Lori's M-37 today and will remain on the "M" until it's parade ready for Veteran's Day!
The Jeep purchase was simply to keep it from being scrapped. Now that it runs maybe somebody will take up the cause to save her.
