Can anyone tell me if the M37 wheel cylinders are the same items as used on the W51/52. The reason for asking is that in the U.K. M37 parts have to be ordered from the United States or Holland, whereas W51/52 are readily available. Many thanks, Bill

Hi Bill,
I found this thread on Steel Soldiers...........I think it answers your question.

"I'll preface this by saying that I have no first hand experience with a WC-62 or WC-63 6X6 Dodge. I do, however, have a 1942 WC-51, and have worked on a few M37s. The wheel cylinders are the same between the WW2 3/4 Ton Dodges and the M37 series. There are left wheel cylinders and right wheel cylinders, but they are the same size on both axles."

I back that up they are the same. WC 3/4 ton, WC 1.5 ton, 46 to 68 Power Wagon, and M37 all the same wheel cylinders, brake shoes, springs etc. it is Lockheed brake design.
