I get a magazine in the mail, off road adventures. Comes free after you buy stuff from 4wheelparts.com. They had a article on our trucks. Nice to see our old iron in a modern day jeep magazine.

They were nice folks MM, I wonder what became of them. I thought I saw the truck in the hands of someone else in the midwest not long ago. It's been a while since the Big E eh?

Time marches on, folks come and go but yes, you always do wonder what has become of them Bob, too many of our members have dissapeared but fortunately we have a steady influx of new members to share the wisdom and goodwill :-)

Thanks for the heads-up, Tuko! I stopped by the 4WD Store today and picked up a few copies to go with the manuals and "memorabilia" collection. They now live with the Chrysler Power Wagon slick advertizing packet from 2012 which had pictures of the M-37 at a VERY upscale residence with their 2012 Power Wagon model.

I should have picked up the Camel Posters back in the '80's (I could had a bunch of the big ones), but I kept putting it off and now they are gone. I think the smoking theme kind of lowered my desire. Oh, well.

Anyway, thanks again for the notice on this article.

The very first pic shows an M37 in military colors. Caption says it's winch is an LU-2.
Looks like an LU-4 to me. I guess i really don't know the difference.
