hey guys
just curious if there was a way of getting a title, then tags for my m101
trailer, it never had any paperwork that came with it. i figured my luck is going to run out one day taking it to aberdeen with no tags
2 years ago when i bought it outside of dover, coming
home i missed my turnoff and drove thru downtown dc, right dead in front of the capital building, and made it home with no one pulling me over,
i call that great luck

You could try contacting DRMO and asking if you can still get an SF97 for it. You might have to complete an EUC first, and it could take a while, but you'd be perfectly legal. You could also check with the PA department of motor vehicles (or whatever they call it) and see what titling/licensing options are available to you. In IL, we can always title and register it as a "home-made" trailer even though it's obviously a factory-made item.

It is as per your state law. Small trailers usually do not require a title to go down to DMV and buy a small trailer plate. As usuall, plead stupidity and call it home made. Tom

Also, maybe you can get a registration for a home made trailer. That is what I had for my M101 as it didnt have a title. I sold the trailer a couple years ago, but I kept the trailer registration going as I can use it on any trailer I want since the reg didnt have a serial number on it...

BTW, in Idaho on small trailers, you buy a small licence plate and run the darn thing forever. The cops never do check the expirations on small trailers. Tom
