Hood rod bracket

Hi everyone,
I need to fabricate the little metal bracket that goes on the passenger side windshield frame for the rod that holds the hood open, does anybody have a picture of this I could use as a guide?

Not the best-hope it helps, it appears to be two eyelets tacked to a flat piece of stock, with a drilled hole and a retaining clip in between.

I did a lot of searching for the clip, no good. Sorry that one in the photo must of been the last.
