m35 top on a m37

Ok I have had both rigs over the year but never at the same time side by side. I know the m35 cab is larger than the m37, can a m35 top be cut down to fit a m37 and is worth the work? I can find a lot of tops for the m35 in the 200.00 price where a M37 top is around 400.00. There is only two parts on my truck that are stock ( two rear bumperets) every thing else is changed. so its doestnt mater if it is stock just has to look good and work...Thanks Phil in Mt
