NOS Wiper Motors Available

Hi Guys,

I've been away a few weeks dealing with some medical issues (aren't hospitals fun?)........but now I'm back and on the road to recovery. I found a guy on Ebay selling NOS Trico wiper motors, the link is below. I bought two of them last week and they arrived yesterday. They are SWEEEEET!. At first I thought they were a bit pricey at $75 each, but then I searched around a bit and found there aren't any NOS ones out there. You can get your cores rebuilt by WIPERMAN for about a hundred bucks a pop, I believe..........or you can buy these for less and have brand new motors checked out and guaranteed working. Just hit 'em with a shot of OD and you're ready to go.

The only question I had was the part number. The correct part number for M37s is S-583 and these are stamped SH-583......so I don't know what the "H" signifies. I couldn't find any info on this online either. The "27" just means the knob and the ball are chrome plated instead of painted. I suspect the "H" means civilian, as they were used in the CJ2 Jeep post-war. But other than the ink stamping I see no difference in these motors and some original M37 take-offs I have laying around......except they're new and they work. :mrgreen:

So if you need them.................this might be a rare opportunity. Oh........I'm not the guy selling these on Ebay........just passing on what I think is a good deal.

regards,
bob

Bob;

Thanks for the wiper motor listing info. I have been looking for a new one. Glad to hear that the motor is new and not some old used one.

Well, lets see if they work. I just grabbed two of 'em. Living in Washington wipers are important! :)

Thanks!
