I've been AWOL

Sorry not to have been adding my pertinent (or impertinent) comments to the forum for a few days. I had my wife take me to the emergency room on Friday evening, March 17th, because I was having trouble breathing. They admitted me with double pneumonia and a possible blood clot in one lung. Happy St. Paddy's day for me, huh?

Anyway, they let me out of the hospital at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, the 27th, after I raised holy heck and told them that there was no way on this side of the grass that I was going to eat another breakfast in that joint.

I'd have been back on the 'net yesterday, but my wife managed to get the computer locked up while I was incapacitated. It's fixed, now, so here I am...weak as a lamb, but otherwise as "OK" as I'm ever going to get.

Now that I'm back in fine fettle, be prepared to suffer my feckless wit! ;)

Likely story Lifer, I'd be more inclined to go along with the story that you have been hiding in the root cellar as you got caught chasing some good looking women about on St Paddy's day and the missus was going to remove the reason for the purpose that was the problem (too much green beer) LOL
Hope you feel your old self again soon, best wishes from this side of the rock :-)
Take Care

Best Regards - MM :-)

Right on with the "scary" part, Randy. It turns out that air is a lot like sex. Neither one is really important...unless you're not getting any. ;)

Get well

Get well soon Lifer, You are entering spring, the best time of the year to work on your M-37.

Winters in your neck of the woods, with breathing problems can be a pain

I'm feeling much better today. I just looked at my original post and see that I was still "out of it" when I hit the "submit" button. A peek at my calendar reveals that St. Paddy's Day was actually a Monday, and the 27th was a Thursday. Either I was still a bit feverish when I posted, or that "old-timers" disease had me in its clutches. I did turn 65 on the 12th, after all. ;)
