Who Bought Sid Becks Stuff?

I've tried doing a search but didn't end up with anything definitive. I'm looking for any contact information on who got all the M37 stuff that Sid Beck had. I was led to believe that he had aquired some M37CDN parts. I am still searching for the illusive holy grail of ACME PTO parts, specifically the Idler Gear. Its the only identifiable difference between the US and CDN pto due to the CDN transmission being an ACME T98. We have searched high and low, but come up with nothing. VPW didn't pan out. There has to be a sea can full of this stuff somewhere, just nobody knows what they have. Thanks in advance for any help.

I believe Brent Mullins wound up with all of Sid's inventory. You can find him at
http://www.mullinsjeepparts.com/
He does not show M37 in his catalog, but sells on ebay occasionally. If you don't know him, Brent is very nice guy. His focus is restoring tanks. Sid told me Brent has more fully operational (capable of firing) tanks than anyone in the country.

Thanks, A couple of months ago, I tried to email them but never heard a word back. I have pictures and the technical information that might help in identifying the gear I'm seeking. None of the other suppliers have been able to help so far. I'll give Brent Mullins another try and see if they reply. This search started a couple of years ago in an attempt to help out Bill Anthony from Churchill, Manitoba who need the idler gear to complete a repair. Now its become my obsession since the results would help others and let me convert a US pto to fit my CDN transmission.

Good luck. I have always gotten response with phone call, not quite so good with email. Sid and Brent went on international parts search trips together, he may know of a souce.

How much would it worth if someone could find nos one?

Value would depend on how badly someone wanted the part. If the correct gear was located NOS, it could be worth north of the prices listed by suppliers for the similar US gear. I'd suggest in the $75 to $100 wouldn't be too much. If anyone has one, I'd be willing to negotiate a fair price but I haven't found any yet.

I'll have to check my stuff on the home PC, but the helical gear is cut opposite of the US one, in order to mate with the T98 gear. I have both pictures and dimensions that I'll try to post when I get back home next weekend. I believe one of the members here had a similar gear from VPW but it turned out not to be exactly the same. The spur gear part is exactly the same as the US pto cluster gear.

I have a parts truck for sale with a 251engine, T98 trans with PTO and complete winch set up. Still 24 volt and runs very strong. Not street legal but a good farm truck or lots of good parts.
Autodoc51@aol.com North central Florida. I have some real nice front fenders also.

Thanks for the offer Bill, I had looked at your post offering it for sale and if we weren't on the opposite side of the known world, I'd be there having a look. Who knows, maybe we'll have to take a drive on of these days.
