Electrical - Wire #85

Have replaced my crispy fried wiring and bought new ign switch that has 3 packards. My old ign was bubba'd a few times so it hard to tell what is what. Looks like I have #27 & #85 coming off the back side (wire markers are barely visible). #85 runs about 8" long and ends with a douglas connection to a "L" bracket with a mounting screw hole. Looks like one of those little Stanley brackets you buy. The douglas connector pin looks to be welded to the "L". My son did not write down what it attached to - any ideas?

Circuit #85 is supposed to be for the "low air pressure indicator light" which we know doesn't exist on the M37. Could be the switch is originally from a different vehicle (2 1/2 ton?). I have a couple of these wires with those "L bracket" terminals that are just clipped behind the dash, to the right of the switch on a small plate mounted at the bottom of the dash panel. They don't go to anything but I guess they could be used if I needed to wire something else in.

the ign. switch is same to all mv's, on the m-37 i think 85 would be used to tap for the heater kit fan motor , or possiably the spot light on a v-41 otherwise its just extra. The end w the angle brkt on it is just a end used to cap off an open wire

Thanks guys - make a whole lot of sense that we have a common harness issue. We plan on using a single connector at the slot to avoid any #85 issues (no wire).
