Great pictures, thanks for sharing. That is a good run putting 500 miles on in one outing.

wvcharlie,
Thanks for posting photos. How did your M do compared to the Powerwagons.

Rich,
I had no problem keeping up with the Power Wagons. Of course most were running the stock flathead six and I have a 318 V8 in my M. Once we hit a hill, most were down to 25-30mph but I never had to gear down for hills. Several guys had V8s and were running taller tires. Now they could really move! Sometimes I was doing 55mph. I had thought about changing differential gearing but I might just go with 11.00 x 16s next time I need tires. We didn't do any mudding this trip, but in the past I would say that the M37 performed a bit better than the Power Wagons. That is just my own personal observation with some specific trucks. The Power Wagons are beautiful trucks with more graceful lines whereas the M37 looks like the ugly stepchild. But we all love that look and, of course, we have the advantage of going topless!

wvcharlie,
I have the stock 230, and it is a little slow on the hills, I did not know your
truck had a v8. I run 11.00 x 16 tires. It does about 45 to 50, on level ground.
that would be top speed. It sounds like you had a good time at the Rally.
