M37 - 3/4 tn trailer (M101A1)

I am rebuilding/restoring an M101A1 3/4 ton trailer for my 1953 M37 (probably should be making it into an M101 as early as the truck is but best I can do is an M101A1 with the wiring harness/lights for the '53 M37). Data plate on trailer does not list the manufacturer - all I have is a "YR MFD of '68" and a "MFR SER NO of 8144". I figure you folks are the "experts on M37's and M37 stuff" so thought I'd ask for help. I've tried Utility Tool & Trailer and it's not theirs. Troyler is out of business and Freuhauf went bankrupt and was bought out by some French Company. Turtle Mountain made M105's but not sure if they made M101's. As detailed as this website is, I thought maybe someone in the network might have some info (and or recommendations) on this. Appreciate your help. Thanks. WHS in Spartanburg, SC

I've seen allot of late 60s M101s that were made by CASE or American Furnace. I'm not sure about your particular MFR number.
