Last post before I leave for work tomorrow.
Does anyone have a "name brand" and a part number for a stock M-37 muffler or should I just go to Fairfield Vintage Power Wagon?
I'll be home next Tuesday afternoon.

I went through all my lists of parts, and even though I would swear I had one for you, I do not.

I'd say best bet is VPW.
Let us know if you find a part # however, I'd love to add this to my list.

I managed to stop in Fairfield on my last run and bought a brand new muffler. I'll see if their is a number on it and put on the site.
Probably tomorrow, I'm shot for the rest of the day! "Tired-Tim"
Thanks for looking though!

Here is what I found on the muffler situation.
I called VPW, Midwest, & Memphis. They were all within a few $$$ of each other but I managed a trip through Fairfield Iowa in the company rig so I saved 20 to 25 dollars in shipping!!
The old muffler is stamped with the following: Nelson Muffler Corp.
7/69 7373681
The new muffler from VPW has no marking on the muffler but the packaging has the part number: 7373681.
Same part number as the old muffler. I have never heard of the Nelson Muffler Corp??
The new one fit exactly in place and the old girl sounds great even though it needs timed and the carb adjusted!

Without looking thru my notes, I can't recall where they are located or who it was I spoke with at Nelson Muffler Corp. He was not very cooperative. From what I recall they do a run on this once in a while, and when I called they weren't going to do any in the near future. He was wondering how I got their number.
