Bots as registered users?!

I noticed on the list of who's on line? at the bottom of the page it listed Bing [Bot] Google[Bot] amongst the familiar names. Is this usual or just blatant trolling for personal info?
Oh tell us computer Guru.

BOTs keep us at the top of our Google and Bing searches etc..... They look for site activity and updates several times a day.
Just don't look directly at them.
I'm not a guru in real life or on TV............

Don't listen to him Bob, he has been programmed by the Bots to say he's not a Guru, he is really known as the absolute mega....Urg......Ack....They've got ME!!
