Making progress

Just an update this time guys.
I took the beast for a 26 mile run last week and she ran alike a champ
! It took about 2 miles for the tires to warm up and round out but after that it was all good. No spitting or sputtering, just hummed along at about 40 mph. Noticed I had an oil leak by the fuel pump when I pulled it back into the shop, let it cool off and discovered when I put the fuel pump on I must have over tightened the bolts, gasket was split. it was a quick fix, had a spare gasket. I am amazed at how fast my bench stock has come together! I made a quick run of it over the weekend just a 10 mile run and no leaks. I am pretty confident in the soundness of her mechanically now. All the electrical is working as well. I still have some grease fitting to replace (clogged and will not allow grease in) I have those and will start on that soon. there are only a few and nothing on the drive line.
I guess window and door seals will be next. I am trying to get all of the basics done first then start with some of the upgrades you guys have talked about. I do believe I have been bitten by the OD green bug!
