Tying the canvas top ropes

Anyone have an illustration of the correct way to rig the rope at the bottom rear of the canvas top? I have seen it but now that winter is coming to the Frozen Northern Wastelands, it is time to put the top on.
Thanks,
Tim

From a photo I can across in the TM, it looks like the ropes come out of the cover, down through the hooks on the tailgate, and are tied at the center. I can't find enough detailed photos but it is probably like any other vehicle if you can find a deuce or other truck photo that has them tied. I would tie a loop into one side and run the other side through the loop and secure it with a couple of half-hitches.

Thanks Mike,
I am looking for the detail of the cab top. Should have been clearer in my request!

OK, let me offer this. The cab top rope laces to the hooks around the back of the cab and are tied to the hooks closest to the doors. The rope passes through the hook, not tied to each, like a boot with speedlaces. Now, my truck doesn't have the 7-9 hooks or whatever to match each grommet in the cab top so I just go from grommet to grommet with the rope and loop down to the closest hook where they are mounted.
HERE is an extract from a 1974 PS magazine on how to tie off the tarp ropes at the ends. Hope this helps.

Thanks Bruce. I'm always trolling the PM mags and articles looking for info. I've even published this one in our newsletter.
