After seeing that pic of Carter's "Reconditioned" data plate showing 46,000+ miles on it.............I'm wondering what the highest mileage seen on an M37 is? From most of the trucks I've seen on eBay and such it seems most have mileage in the mid 20,000 mile range. So who has seen the highest mileage M37?
thanks,
bob

Really I don't know; but wouldn't be surprised if it were my truck. It has well over 100,000 miles on it and still going strong, I have not kept close records since we got out of the grading business in 1999. Does anyone else know of a M37 with over 100,000 miles on it?

My 52 CDN M37 has a tag on the block that says it was rebuilt by R.C.E.M.E. in 63. it is my understanding that at rebuild the odometers were reset to 0. when i got my truck it had 96000+ on it. I re-geared it with 4.89s and today she has 13661 on the clock. so with 20% added to the clock to compensate for the gear change its more like 121193 + what ever was on the truck at rebuild and the two years i drove without a speed'o

Mine didn't have a speedometer but was beaten enough to look like over 100K when I got it due to no maintenance: U-joints toast, busted leaf springs, etc.....

When I bought my truck 17 years ago, it had around 27,000; now it reads 73,257.
