The G-741 has the following in Group 1806 but no illustrations
Passenger seat board only a Chrysler # CC1279115
Passenger seat board with catch and dowels #CC1279051
Passenger seat (Incl Cushion Cover and Board)
Stock # G741 734-6929 or CC1278055 (Fig 18-5 V)
-20P has the NSN 2540-734-6929 listed in the back but i do not see it in Section 1806 I assume it is the whole thing cover cushion board
-3P has the same NSN and it is listed in the 1806 section but not illustrated again it is the whole assembly

I'm eyeballing that one too! My CD manuals don't include that NSN and the NSN website pulls it but doesn't list which vehicles it fits.

I see I'm not the only one who passed on this cushion. Not a bad price but I'd like the real thing if one becomes available.

My seat bottom is original but warped and the clasp area is pretty much toast/split. Would you guys recommend fabricating a bracket to hold the bracket or get a fresh piece of 5/8" plywood and drill some holes? I have new covers from Mona at New Life - what do you think?

It all depends on what you want. If you're after a "100 point" restoration, replacing it with a NOS seat bottom or making a new duplicate of the original (including any stencils on the bottom) is the only way to go. If all you want to do is have a serviceable seat, you could get away with just reinforcing the one you have. Of course, there is the option of making a replacement that works but may or may not be an "exact replica." As always...your truck, your choice.
