I am just about done with my friends M37 work. He bought a old set of bows and capes to use on his truck. I have them all done and mounted in the truck. I figured out the ‘U’ bolt goes in the slot behind each door to hold the bottom of the bow support to the cab.

Can anyone tell me where the ‘J’ bolt goes? There is no picture in the manual that show this.

Mine is/was in the slot a couple inches above the U bolt. The J bolt is a U bolt with one leg cut off.

Hummm.....I don't remember seeing another slot above the one where the 'U' bold goes. I will have to look again.
