Looking for a dealer-

Hello Gang!
I've beenlurking on here since I got my M37, but it's been sitting too long (3 years) and I gotta do something with it! When I bought the truck the seller told me it was complete. Well, it isn't and I haven't had any luck getting her to find the rest of the parts (mainly everything between the radiator and the transfer case- some of the engine, tranny, bellhousing). Her husband owned the truck and passed away unexpectedly, he had pulled it apart when he spun a bearing and that's the way I got it. When we loaded it up I saw the block and crank so I thought I was good- WRONG! I've been after her for over two years now to at least let me come down and find the remainder but she thinks anyone that goes into "his" garage is going to try and steal all the "valuables" he has in there- mostly scrap metal from what I saw.
But enough of the sob story- I've been trying to find a replacement motor tranny and clutch set up. With my work schedule I'm trying to keep it within a four hour drive, so that gets me to Buffalo NY to Pittsburgh and Cleveland (I'm just south of Erie PA). A friend of mine told me about a place near Youngstown or Canton OH that was a mil surplus place that dealt mainly in vehicles- mostly 6x6's when he was there, but he remembers seeing some M37's. He was there years ago, but he said they would sell trucks in any condition from right out of service to complete rebuilds and they had everything there to do it. He can't remember the name though, so I was wondering if anyone on here had a clue what the name was, and if they might still be in business? Or if there are any dealers, swap meets or junk yards that might have something?
Thanks!
Al Reibel

Hey welcome aboard! Don't give up on your project-there are parts to be had if you know where to look: perhaps the vendor you seek is Sam Winer out of Akron?

Good luck, and again, welcome!

There is Adirondack Dodge in NY, and maybe a little out of your range, Bob Stahl in eastern MA. Not sure where Vintage Power Wagons is from. You might post your want over at Steel Soldiers under the Gilbert Show want thread. Folks from all over come to Gilbert with stuff and if they know you'll be there, can bring what you want. They have a forklift so loading is less of an issue. Gilbert is in Gilbert, PA next month.

Thanks Guys!
And Gary, Winer's looks like the place- perfect! They list the 230's on their .pdf ad on the website, I'll give them a call later on and see what else they have.
Finding the motor is a great start though.

SW is a little south and east of Akron. They sell a lot of mil parts, but be warned they want top dollar for them. Not sure what a used take out as-is motor is going to cost you but it wont be cheep from them. Post in the sale section here your want and maybe someone with-in your radius will see your add and will hook you up for a good price. Also go to the Gillbert show like was said you may make a contact there that will get you all set up.

Good luck with your truck and we love pictures here.

Thanks!
When is the meet at Gilbert? If I'm not working I'd like to go, even if there aren't a lot of parts there.

Thanks Charles!
If I can ever find the time I'd love to take a road trip to your facility (or better yet bring the truck and tell you to get going on it), this thing is in so may parts I'm not sure where they all go. But I work two jobs to support my bad habits ( a 69 Charger and the M37) and I have two sons in college. Two budding engineers going to Penn State, I keep telling them I'll make sure they get through, but 5 years after graduation they need to start sending 10% home to Dad!
