Was looking at the relining kit from mwm 1/2 price to do it yourself I imagine drill out the rivets and remove old lining, reinstall new lining? is the lining pretty flexible and easy to follow the curve of the shoe or anything out of the ordinary to expect
thanks,
tuko

I've heard that's a monster-might be easier to get a new band with lining already attached....

I'd go with Gary on this. That shaft is spinning fast, any imperfection is going to make trouble, big time.

We offer relining service for yours, or we have good bands we can reline and sell to you outright.
Doing it yourself is virtually impossible unless you have access to a relining press with a hole drilling/countersinking attachment.

Our mainstay is rebuilding and restorations; therefore we have available the necessary items for our own projects which includes the capability to reline brake shoes and e-brake bands. We don't advertise as a parts vendor, however I'm happy to sell anything that we have in quantities that we can spare.
