Hey Crew.
I'm leaving for my week on the road. When I get home I need to remove the windshield assembly from the M-37 to repaint. Any tips????? I see two big bolts where it hinges down onto the hood. One has a vacuum hose running through it.
Anyway I'll talk to you all next week!! Thank you in advance! Trucker-Tim!

As long and the bolts are not frozen in place you should have no problem.
Remove the rubber vacuum hose under the dash from the end of the metal tube that goes through the bolt. You might need to disconnect the upper tube from the rubber tube going up the side of the windshield. The metal tube assembly if not frozen should just pull out of the bolt.
There is a nut on the end of each bolt under the dash that you will have to hold while you turn the bolts. Other than that you need two people to lift the frame off the body.
Have fun. Mine where frozen in place and needed a number of heating and cooling sessions until they got un-stuck.

That sucker is heavier than you might think, too; caution my friend when removing it. Lay it flat on the hood stops before unbolting it then get a buddy to handle one end while you handle the other.

You can also remove the windows to lighten the frame. On each window disconnect the window support arm. At the top of the window hinge you will see that a portion of the hinge is bent in to stop the window from sliding out. Bend the tab back open window all the way and slide out. Repeat for the other side.
