Lookin' Good!
Hey Crew.
Long time no see. Sorry for the absence.
Been a bit hectic around the Iowa Motor Pool.
Getting ready for our next parade in Quincy Illinois.

(Hey Crew!
Got a phone call from Krista this afternoon asking who is planning on attending the Veteran parade this year. I sent out a message a while back, but this time I need a closer count. Sure hope you can all make it.
We have been invited to attend the 2019 Veteran Day Parade in Quincy Illinois November 9th. Mark this event on your calendar! Please let me know so I can tell our Quincy Family.)

Needed something self contained to tow the M37 & haul my Lori in comfort.
1994 IH 9400, DT466 diesel, 6 spd direct manual tranny.
Diesel genny, A/C, table, couch, bunk, bathroom with shower.
Now my Lori can go no matter the weather or length of the trip!
Added a lift on the rear deck so she won't need to fight the steps. Cheers.

Hi Tim,

That is a very nice tow rig that you have there. Looks like Lori likes traveling in comfort also.

Good to hear from you.

Bert

Thank You Bert & Bruce.

Not sure Lori will ever be able to keep me in line? She does try however.
The IH should do alright although it needs a lot of TLC before earning a spot in the Powell Motor pool.
The school bus in the background. Well, that was a mistake. It went bye-bye before quick.

I already miss my dually. Bought new in 2000, sold this last fall.

Here is a pic of my 1960 MGA that I have owned for 35 years. I restored it when I first got it and I drive it a lot. It is a fun car.

Here is a pic of my 1966 Corvette Stingray. I have owned it for 28 years. I restored it right after I got it. It is a fun car to drive. It has a 365 horsepower 327 cubic inch engine. It has real knock off wheels and factory side exhaust. It has 3.08 possi rear gears with a wide ratio four speed stick.

Long time no see you Guys.
Life sure throws curve balls sometimes.
Sold off a few vehicles that last year. Still have the M37 and an old flatbed Ford to tow it with.

The Powell Family will never forget the debt paid by so many.
