I am geting close to finally getting my M37 back on the road. Who do you recommend for auto insurance?
I am in NJ and don't have space to store the truck in my garage at the moment(I think that some have that as a requirement).

J.C. Taylor, I've had a policy with them since 1976. The M37 and my 85 XJS Jag is around $150. The garage is also required, I sent a picture with it sitting in front of my empty garage.

I have JC Taylor with an agreed upon value of $7,000 for my "52 M. I think my premium is about $80 per year for everything. hey require pics and a garage, but they dont require pics of the garage or weather it be a frame building or a tarp building.
GOOD LUCK BOB

If you have State Farm are you just listing it as a regular truck and not a collector vehicle?

Regular Truck, no collision. If you license it as a historical (not a collector) you can even save more $.

So what is the difference between collector and regular insurance? Just that collectors insurance will cover for more value of the truck since regular insurance would only give you book value on a 1952 truck?

Let's put it this way. With my insurance I have no deductible on collision. You can claim any value for insurance, within reason of course. Also my policy reads "shows, parades, and 1500 misc. miles per year" The miles per year is kind of like my concealed carry permit here in crap NY. My CWP states "Hunting where legal and to and from range" I am a key holder and range officer of the range, which equals 24-7 legal coverage. Another plus is adding more vehicles to the policy is a lot cheaper than a regular company. Example: one year I had 6 on the policy, both cars and bikes, total cost under $325

I use Amica (I'm in Taxachusetts.) No restrictions, no hassles getting it insured. I have it registered as a regular vehicle (not Antique), and as anyone who has seen it, my truck is no garage queen. Mission ready, yes. Close to original, yes - with some upgrades (like seat belts).
