I am thinking about rebuilding the fuel pump on my M37 so it will work with today's gas.
Who has the best kit and price?
Thanks,
Paddy

From everything I'm told, the best rebuild kit is from Then and Now Automotive in MA. Cheap isn't necessarily your friend, the rubber parts have to be ethanol friendly. Be sure they know it's for an M37 military with a dual action pump.

Paddyofurniture,
I rebuilt my fuel pump with a kit from Then&Now. It was a little on the high side on price.
It has been on my truck since 2007. It has worked flawlessly. I have to add that for the
last 2 years I have been running ethanol free gas. Briles is Asheboro sells it

I'm thinking that is the solution to my/our problem I'm looking at buying AV gas after a rebuild/replacement of my pump?

Is AV gas the currently sold gas?

AV is aviation gas/fuel. Some smaller air fields will sell it, some marinas also have gas w/o any ethanol added. It ain't cheap either!
My truck started for the first time today in almost three years using a gravity feed tube, then I noticed my fuel pump had started pumping!
I am still planning on AV gas, maybe doing fiddy-fiddy?

ethanol is not legal in Aviation grade gas. Thought I have not heard but some airports might sell pump gas for smaller airplanes if they have had a good experience....................I have yet to have heard any. Its crap.
