Does anyone have a print or could give me the size of the military defroster vent so I could build one, also a pic would be nice. And how did the rifle rack work with one? Thanks Phil in Mt

I have a good photo of the defroster duct system on my M37. However, I can not post photos here. Send me your email address and I will send you the photo I have.

Hello everyone, And i see from the picture of the John Bizal heater kit that it includes the defrost feature . Can anyone comment on the effectiveness of these defrost features? I hope I don't have the same problem with snow storms as with my WC52, which had no heat , let alone defrost ! Peter e mark

Hello sydneyM37. . I now see that the heater in the picture is from a mutt. Thank You. How about the heater that fits on the fender and uses hot water, like the one John Bizal sells, does that set up include defrost? By the way, Too fully realize tour MV potential, I recommend relocating to Pennsylvania and Bring your tire chains too...Peter Mark

Het Phil:
Someone, I think on the old M37 forum had posted a drawing of the defroster vent with dimensions, ect. As I recall he downsized it a bit to get better airflow as the original he thought gave too little.

At any rate, I am pretty sure I printed it out. If you giove me a day or two I will look through my files. If I can find the print and there is a web site I will post it, if not I can mail it to you.

Send me an e-mail with mailing address (52m37@charter.net)

I found my pring out of the plans for the defroster unit.
The web site is as follows but is no longer active.

Perhaps Robi can dig it up and post it. As I said earlier, I am happy to copy what I have and send it to you via snail mail.

Ok, well thanks for the help. I can scale the size from the pics I have, should be close. The size is just about fixed where it mounts. I need room for the w/s latchs and needs to clear the glove box, and dash panel :) ....Phil in Mt

We bought my son a heater from John at MW - a very complete kit including the defog vent. It has many sharp angle and edges -looks like a high school welding shop project. I have not installed it yet, but could photograph it or scan in the installation manual. Let me know.

Any other application (mutt or other) will not have the right defog vent.
