A freind was kind enough to pass this little gem along to me the other day. Had a fun time bringing the old dog with me too. Thought I would post a picture if it. Rusty beyond belief but it is all there including a good complete winch set up and a spare door carrier that somebody mounted in the bed problem is they shortened it and cut of the latch section hopefully it is buried in the bed somewhere.

Ed,

This will be a nice addition to your fleet. I can't wait to see more pictures of it, minus the blanket of snow.

Sad thing is it is strictly a parts truck. It is the most rusted m37 I have ever seen and I have owned a few. The only good panels are the drivers door and bed sides. The beast was parked under a maple tree for 20 plus years and the cab floor are gone the bed floor is extremely straight yet rottted. The fenders and hood are shot too. I need a tetnus shot just for looking at it. I bought it because it is a 1968 and it has a complete winch set up.

Hey Ed, Were you able to dicker on the price I told you he wanted? I have not heard anything back on my offers on both of the other trucks.

Paul

200 less than you said so that will pay for my fuel at $4.36 a gallon !! Those two trucks are still there and listed on craigslist so I think he is waiting for the asking price. Look at the 47 in goffstown I know he saw that one for 14,000 so at 10,000 he is right about right. give him a week he will budge.. I owe you dinner for my new one

thanks again

I need to meet you at your uncles in Plymouth when the snow melts to look for Willys parts.

No problem the jeeps are all still there. some guy was supposed to buy them all in one lot but he turned out to be a big talking flake and never came back after my uncle pulled most of them out for him to haul them...

I though this was a USMC truck but I found Navy markings and the cool Navy Seabees machine gun toting bee is on the door. This truck wasn't painted from the previous owner so I think the are legitimate not a resto.

Cleaning this beast out today and found 1/4" steel plate behind both seats and under the drivers seat as well. Also there was a sand bag full of sand under the drivers seat as well. I am guessing for in field schrapnel protection ?
