Sarge has no springs, cover, etc. for the battery box/passenger seat bottom area. am making a 3/4" plywood cover for same. springs for back of passenger seat present and after some rusty spring replacement work great. have repro canvas set that looks like a 5" foam piece will fill nicely inside but my dimensions are guesstimates at best and SWAGs otherwise. looks to be about 16" x 36". anyone mind putting a tape measure on your OEM one and telling me what you get? As always....Many Thanks.

I am in the same boat as you. I have the base box but no part of the seat. I will watch this thread for the measurements.

WeeBee Webbing should be able to supply the correctly cut foam for the seat. That's all it is, just heavy foam. They have the correct stuff.

My seat is 36 5/8" X 19 1/2 ". It is cut from a plywood with a pattern of holes in it. I cannot vouch for certain if it is original. There is also a small notch cut out of the back right corner.

Thanks for the offer, Jim. I'm interested (the passengers in my M37 are complaining about the plywood seat), but my attempts at sending you a PM seem to be stuck in my outbox.

I hope this helps, Across the front the seat plywood is 36 1/2 ' across the back it's 35" The side nearest the door has jog in it. This is where you have the 1 1/2" difference. The front to back is 19 3/4". Lets say you cut your seat bottom 19 3/4 by 36 1/2". The back left corner you have to cut out a small piece about 7" by 1 1/2 " I guess you really don't have to cut it out. The seat bottom I used had the canvas on it ,so my measurement ma be a little over. I was going to post a picture, however I can't it tells me my file is too big.

Majorhitt, you can use pixsizer to downsize to a smaller size then post it. I can send you the link that I keep on my desktop if you wish?

While we're at it, is anyone interested in a set of springs for the seats? (Driver back & bottom, pass. back) Mine are up for grabs. PM for details.
