with new bushings, with new bushings on idler arm and tie rod bushings , Can this be done by most front end shops that can handel the Big Trucks or is everything special order .

A shop that does big trucks should be able to do the labor, but I'd call around and ask questions first. You might be better off to supply the parts that you know are correct from a reputable source.

I do have a shop in mine, but maybe I should have posted how likely are the parts and are they around or are they specality item to are M-37 .

Changing tie rod ends is a piece of cake. Rebuilding the gear box is another situation however. I doubt seriously if your local shop would want to tackle that job, (guess it depends on if they have plenty of work possibly) and no; off the shelf parts locally won't be happening. I would want my steering box built by someone who is familiar with that box, and would take the time to do it right. Don't know if you have interest, but if your box is bad; now is a good time to think about converting to power steering. It's less trouble to do the upgrade yourself than it is to remove, rebuild, and install the original box. Also, don't forget the idler arm, pin, bushing, and bracket. If you don't build all that at the same time, you will likely be unhappy with the end result. Many steering boxes have been rebuilt/replaced when the bulk of the problem was idler arm/bracket issues all along.

Thank's ! Charles, Power steering would be the "Cats Butt" I would like to keep it as is, found a shop that does older car front ends but not sure if he would intertain the though of are Old Work Horse ! just hope the parts are avalable ?
