Hey Crew.
I have, let us say "liberated" a set of military lamps from my Buddy's basement! Any clue what they were used on? I'm thinking M-38 Jeep? Larger pictures on request to my e-mail: timpowell319@q.com

I think Hotchkiss Jeeps made those. That was in France. I ran into that on the g503 forum.

With the blackout marker door removed and a full yellow one installed the same lamp body was used for front turn signals on a 151A1 1/4 ton "jeep". with the marker door on like you pictured they are the same as the right side BO marker on an M37B1. Can't comment on their use on a M38, never had one

Hey Carter! Those are sure the same body as the ones I have. I'm just guessing on the M-38, really don't have a clue. (my normal)

Front black out marker light on the M38, M38A1, M151 and M151A1 (most likely these since it has the rubber connectors while the M38 and M38A1 would have had the metal connectors like M37s had) They were also used on the M100, M416, M101 and M105 trailers in the 60s when they had two stop tail lights and then the extra black out stop light. Probably were used on the M35A1 and some 5 tons in the 60s also. So, yeah they were used on a few vehicles.... :D

I do believe that lamps I have are for the M-151 after doing a search and looking at several pictures of the vehicle up close. ( MUTT, Ford built "Jeep" I think)
Next Question. What is the differance between an M-101 and an M-105 trailer?? I have one I thought was a 101 but now am thinking it's a 105?? Pictures in the gallery.

M151 lights, yet

Tires on the M-101 are 9.00x16, the M-105 are 9.00x20

Got it!
I'm going to list it as a M105. As far as the hitch being modified I want everyone to know I did not do that!! Welds are purdy shakey at best and are on my "short list" of things needing re-done! (short list. that's funny) I'd really like to find the right trailer for our M-37.

Thank you all!

M101 was meant to be pulled behind the M37 and later variants (M715, M880, CUCV etc) M105 was to be pulled by the M35 or the M211 families of 2.5 ton truck. It is a heavier trailer than the M101 which is what you want to find for your turck.

I think I have two m101's located but can't seem to get the sellers to return my calls? I'll sell my m105 when I get the right one bought.
