Well, I'm getting weaker, now, so much so that it's difficult to sit at the computer for more than 15 minutes or so at a time. Otherwise, I don't "feel" any worse than before. The VA docs are doing a great job on the pain control for me. (I am such a wimp when it comes to pain!)

The other day, the wife told me that "I hate to see you suffer like this, dear. Any time you feel like just letting go, it's okay with me." That beats the heck out of the "DROP DEAD, YOU BASTARD" that I used to hear any time we had a serious disagreement.

When I coughed this morning, it felt "different." I didn't have to struggle to bring it up, which was good. Problem is, it was a bright, foamy red, which is NOT good. My nurse comes today, so we'll see what she has to say.

Gotta go for now. Time to lie down again for a bit.

I always enjoy your posts and now I realize that I've been reading them for more than 14 years. I've learned a lot of English with them.
Hold on my friend, we are all wimps when it comes to pain, don't pay attention to the missus, you stay here where your knowledge and sense of humor is greatly appreciated.

Funny how all around the world, in different cultures and languages, our fine sense of humor is never appreciated by our other halfs, Don't you think?
