Hello Guys,
Well here it is. My new OD aquisition  Add to the collection one 1968 M101A1. :D The price was right. It is in very good shape. No rust through. One brake handle needs attention.Tires decent. Came with a fair canvas as well.

I still have an un-tapped gallon of my truck paint so I can make it the identical color...groovy.. 8)

Very nice looking trailer. Did you buy it from a private party or the GL Auction?

Sal,

On your trailer on the front of the body how is the horizontal wood attached?

My trailer is missing this.

Thanks,

Paddy

Paddy. They look like standard slotted machine screws. Look at the pictures ! I don't know if the hardware on them are original or not. I have not started to work it yet. Hopefully Ill get to it this summer.

Congrats David on the new addition. ou have OD Fever now for sure! It's like Lays Patoto chips you can't stop at just one. :) Trailer restos are fun and they don't take a as much of your wallet to do.

Hi David,
OH YAEH the M101 is the natural next thing to add to your truck. Looks cool. I painted mine to match my truck also.

Thanks crew 8)
T, I got it from a private party about an hour from my house.
I will probably tear into it in the fall and have it ready to paint next spring. It is in decent shape so I can hitch it up and play. I will inspect the bearings and use it as is for now.
The deal was i finish my home/honey do projects before I paint it..

Nice find, David! Seems lots of those are available right now, but they don't look as complete as that one. Enjoy!

Good find, looks to be in better condition than the one I started with. What's wrong with the brake handle?

Carter,
Not sure. It is loose and just flops. Something is broken or disconnected? I will check it out this weekend and let you know what I find. I have not had time to "explore" yet 8)
