Hi Tom,

There is an indent in the side of the passenger bench base, facing the door. The kit sits vertically on it's end, and in the indent. It's held in by a strap. You may see a couple of footman loops, or the holes for them. Or you may also see slots cut in the bench base. These are where you thread the strap.

i see the indent for the kit but there are no footmans, dimples for them or holes, there are 3 holes in a triangle pattern in the indent where the kit goes like a bracket mounts there, do you have a pic or is there a pic in 1 of the manuals? thanks :D

I added the footman loops & the buttons. The footman loops came from Saturn Surplus, the buttons came from NAPA.

Bruce - great shots. Mine has the 3 holes for the rubber bumpers only. The guy before me mounted a seat belt there. We just ordered 2 pullmans so you are picture "perfect". Thanks.

Hard plastic, my NAPA has a carousel full of rubber/plastic stuff..... there only purpose is to prevent chafing. I also made my straps from some od belting I found @ my local surplus dealer, found the gater clip too.
Fer instance, I found the glove box bumpers in a retail pac, 1 dozen (12 pieces) for $2.00!

It looks like a tank commander's binocular case. Not standard equipment for an M37.

That's where I put my binoculars, it's a "Tank Commanders Binocular Holder"
I snagged it from AB a few years ago. Bill Wincapaw did it to his, I stole the idea from him. Frank (one of the few) had a couple, they went fast.
