Just canvas your MV vendors. Several sell the amber 24 volt lamps.

FYI, halogen lamps are just incandescent with a gas inside the bulb, they do not have any special requirements. The electrical system doesn't care, watts are watts. It's just a matter of finding the right lamps.....

Nutsfor59,
I am using PIAA headlight housings on my 1952 M-37, it has a single wire 24 volt altenator. I used 12v bulbs in them about 25 years ago. I purchased 24v NATO bulbs and installed them They are working fine.
The bulbs are three prong. I bought a three prong headlight connector and spliced in the Douglas connectors.
