Fender heater innovation!

I was working on installing the fender heater today. I mounted the air distribution box and then was looking at the path from the defroster exit port to the dash, and it sure seemed like the cowl vent would interfere with the flex duct. I first thought that a 4" aluminum 90 degree elbow might make the turn easier, so I went and rummaged around in my dryer ducting bin. (I am a renovation contractor) Instead of the elbow, my eyes fell on a dryer fitting that will connect a dryer and allow it to be pushed right up to the wall while the vent stays in the wall. With some easy modifications, it fit right on top of the distribution box, aims righ toward the hole in the dash and easily clears the cowl vent and the turn signal flasher bolted to the side of the glove box.
The link is a picture of the type of fitting I so clumsily tried to describe.
