hi,does anyone know of a source where you can get the cable adapter test kit for 100 amp like in the 25 amp system ???? the kit i have for the 25 amp system has different plugs/connectors and is useless for the 100 amp system,thanks

I don't think there is a test lead adapter kit for it. None of the 100 amp system troublshooting tests require an adapter kit.

Have you actually completed the entire test regimen I sent you on pages 12 thru 15? Were all the results correct?

Test lead adapters are better known in the electronics world as breakout boxes. We use to build these ourselves to keep in out tool box using the mating cannon plugs and a test box with the necessary jacks and lamps.

hi,i still have to do a resistace test on all the terminals but i can tell you that i have 24.6 thru the whole system with power switch on,thats at the generator,thrugh the rectifier etc,thanks,hopefully i can work on it some more thurs night !!,

The key to success using a troubleshooting program or chart is to go thru it step by step in order.

That 24.6V is probably your battery voltage at the time of the test and does not indicate a good system nor does it offer any help with getting 28V to 30V out of the alternator.
